Ramsey rallies Wales as young skipper roars

Wales captain Aaron Ramsey is confident of pulling off a shock win over England despite the loss of Gareth Bale. Winger Bale was ruled out on Thursday after failing to shake off a hamstring problem and the England camp breathed a sigh of relief on learning the Tottenham star will play no part at the Millennium Stadium.

But Ramsey, who will become the youngest player to wear the Welsh armband at just 20, insists England boss Fabio Capello should still be worried.

He said: 'It's a massive blow for us (losing Bale) but we still have quality there. It's not just about one player.

'We hope to come together as a team and win the game that way. Any game I go into I think I can win, and this is no different.

'We know what we are capable of doing as a side and we are going to go into the game thinking we can do something and get a positive result. Everyone knows their roles so there will not be much said before we go out on the pitch.

'We want to go out there and enjoy the occasion.'
Ramsey has vowed to lead by example when he skippers the side in the Euro 2012 qualifier.

The Arsenal midfielder has been handed the role despite having won just 11 caps to date, with manager Gary Speed hopeful the youngster is the man to revitalise what has so far been a woeful Group G campaign.

Ramsey admitted he was delighted to take the role, and hopes to show his team-mates the way against their old enemy. ……….click here .sumber dailymail.co.uk
